I'm Rick Stone, your guide through the green world of vegetable gardening with a focus on enriching your soil the organic way! With a passion nurtured over a quarter-century, my sprawling garden has become my canvas where I artistically produce up to 1100 pounds of varied vegetables annually, alongside vibrant flowers that beautify our home environment. My garden is a living laboratory, where I have mastered the art of year-round cultivation, defying the constraints of zone 6 through innovating with cold frames and hoop houses.
As a proud graduate of the Utah State University Master Gardener program, my enthusiasm has translated into years of teaching, sharing the wisdom of organic practices and sustainable gardening. In the past 7 years alone, I've taken this passion online, empowering nearly 1000 students with the knowledge to cultivate their own lush gardens.
